 This week we have been working on finding a fraction of an amount it was so fun we only do this in our group work. I find finding a fraction of an amount really easy how do you find it ?

Why are bees so important :

Bees are so important because they polane your food so you are able to eat them
and they all so take out the polan in some flowers so they can stay alive.
They also are very important because they have to pollinate crops on farms so then one
day that can be harvested. Its is estimated that one third of our food is pollinated by
them that's so cool Around 400 different type of plants need the bees to pollinate them
to increase the quantity.

What veggies and fruit do bees pollinate :

bees plantes a lot of fruit and veggies but you might not be quit sure on what they
really do pollante that like to polante apples,tomatoes,pears,cashew,coffee and extra.
If you have time you should have a look on what food  they polante that you eat i
found that most of my food is pollinated by bees that is amazing .

What places can you find bees:

Many people think that bees were found in africa and  then dpreded north of europe
and the eastern india and china . They can be found in tropical places and heavenly
blush places they like to hang around plants so you may find them in you lavender
plants . bees build nest inside tree cavities and under edges to hide them self from
predators.

What flowers do bees like:

Bees my collects nectar from a wide variety of flower plants that's why you
find many bees flying around  our gardens theses days. Bees like to hang around
the plants.stonecrop,Goldenrod, lavender, butterfly bush and more if you want to
find out what plane they like to buzz around have a look on google.

Food pyramid

Over the fast 5 weeks of school we have been focing on a food pyramid a food pyramid we learnt what we should have in a daily routine So we decided to create our one food pyramid with foods that we like MY food pyramid also has how much you need to eat in a day  a serving size is the size of the palm of your hand.

This is my acrostic poem about winter we had to do it because it was part of you writing.Our W.A.L.T :To write an acrostic poem with more that 4 words.I done the poem winter because I wanted to do a season and every one else was doing summer so i chose to do winter.I think next time I could add a bit more detail in my poem.What is your favorite part in my poem? mine is nightfall come early because parts of the world the night does come early.  

We have started reading the book Once by Morris Gleitzman .This book is about a boy called Felix and his parents dropped him of at a catholic orphanage to live.  He  has been there for 3 years and 8 months. He had found a carrot in his soup and he thought that might be a sign from his parents that they are coming to get him. Felix is pretending to be a catholic when he is really Nazi. This book is a great read I can't wait to finish the book.

This term we have been working on our wear able arts costumes and i has been a lot of fun and trouble last night we had the show to present to the school and at 7.00 we done another presentation to the adults  and children that wanted to come along sadly we did not get an award but it is alright
